I'm a design researcher and strategist, currently pursuing an MBA and MS in Design Innovation at Kellogg. When it comes to my work, I bring an open mind, sunny disposition, and collaborative spirit. Also, slightly arthritic knees. Seriously, they crack so much. Here are a few facts about me:
01. I love to learn from other humans.
I'm fascinated by who others are at their core, what they think, and how they navigate the experience of being a person. Leisurely one-on-one chats are my jam, especially when they happen over desserts with actual jam. Being a design researcher gives me plenty of opportunities to listen to and learn from others. I feel very lucky to do this for a living.
02. I enjoy creating things.
It's so cool that we've been given opposable thumbs and a brain structure that lets us unleash all manner of new things on this earth. I've found joy in creating experiences as a designer, telling stories as a copywriter, and making heinous clay pots as a deeply untalented amateur ceramicist.
03. I believe in design for good.
I'm pursuing an MBA and MS in Design Innovation to become a better champion of ethical, human-centered design. I'm passionate about using design-thinking and business tools to help organizations make a positive impact on the lives of the people they serve.
